Munich · Open to the right opportunity
20+ years opening the German-speaking market for US-Tech companies. I've built teams, closed DAX-40 enterprise deals, and navigated Works Councils. Now I build my own AI workflows — because understanding what I sell starts with building it myself.
"Global Account Manager of the Year 2015" — LinkedIn. #1 Hybrid Enterprise Team globally, LinkedIn Learning DACH.
About
I specialise in the market most US-Tech companies underestimate — and most of them learn why the hard way.
DACH is not just another European market. It is Works Councils with veto rights, DPOs who read every sub-processor list, and buying committees that do not move until trust is established. I have navigated all of it — from building LinkedIn's first privacy-compliant API integration for a DAX-40 company alongside the Betriebsrat, to rolling out MEDDPICC across a 70-person organisation at Speexx.
The AI shift has not changed this dynamic — it has made it more complex. I am building my own AI workflows (n8n agents, local LLMs via Ollama, RAG pipelines) because understanding what I sell starts with building it myself. I also run DACH.ready, a compliance tool for US-Tech companies entering the German market.
I have not run a multi-country organisation, and I have built most of my pipeline through relationships rather than cold outbound. Both are things I am deliberately working on rather than papering over.

What I bring
Works Council co-determination, DSGVO/GDPR architecture, DPO negotiations, and DAX-40 C-Level relationships built over 20 years. The structural barriers that stop most US-Tech market entries are my home terrain.
Built teams from scratch twice. New Business, Account Management, BDR, CS, Marketing — I have led or closely partnered with every function in the revenue organisation. MEDDPICC as lived methodology, not a slide.
n8n agents, local LLMs via Ollama (Mistral, Llama 3), RAG pipelines over compliance documents — I build AI workflows because I want to understand what my customers are building. I built DACH.ready, a compliance tool for DACH market entries.
Currently building
Flagship project
A RAG-based compliance tool for US-Tech companies entering DACH. Ask a compliance question — Works Council veto risk, DPA gaps, EU AI Act classification — and it retrieves passages from an indexed corpus and answers with citations, or says explicitly when the corpus doesn't cover it. Built on Chroma, Ollama and Claude, with local embeddings. The interesting part is where it fails: weak retrieval, silent PDF extraction errors, and a model that occasionally cites the wrong passage. The repository documents all of it.
Project 01 · Live
Two-model architecture over public job data: Mistral Small runs locally via Ollama for pre-filtering, Claude handles the deeper analysis. Built to test where local inference is good enough and where it isn't — the honest answer is that the small local model over-selects, and the filtering logic still needs work.

Project 02 · Live
Structured matching of documents against a profile, running Llama 3 entirely locally via Ollama. No data leaves the machine. Built as a working example of the architecture DACH customers ask for when they say the data cannot go to a US cloud.

What I am looking for
Country Manager, Regional Director, or Strategic AE at an AI-native company where the learning curve is the point. For the right company and mission, title is secondary to trajectory.
Series B–D, expanding into DACH. Strong product with clear differentiation — not a feature, a category. I am most interested in companies where AI is the delivery mechanism, not an add-on.
I think carefully and move fast, and expect the same from leadership. Remote-friendly or Munich-based.
I am not the right fit for high-velocity, volume-driven roles. My strength is in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals where DACH compliance is a sales enablement challenge.
If you are building a DACH GTM and looking for someone who has done it before — I am open to a conversation. No decks, no lengthy forms. A direct exchange.
